We had a Great experience at 1000 Acres Ranch! The ranch is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are plenty of fun activities like horseback riding and outdoor adventures. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well organized. I highly recommend visiting if you’re looking to enjoy nature and have a great time.

There was a mini fridge in the room which was super convenient! We never had to leave the grounds as there were so many activities offered. We enjoyed kayaking, horse back riding, swimming, an amazing ropes course and zip line and made use of the many sports courts ( lots of sports equipment available at the front desk). The food was delicious and the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. We had car trouble after checking out and needed to extend our stay and we were accommodated so graciously. We will definitely be back and will recommend this nature getaway to our friends!

Everyone we met, from the staff to the other guests, was amazing. We had a great time and really appreciated that the ranch is dog-friendly. The scenery was stunning, especially with the autumn foliage in full color. However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding certain activities. I specifically booked my visit for the river crossing ride, mentioning it several times when making my reservation, but only learned upon arrival that it only runs during warmer weather. This should have been clearly stated online or mentioned during booking. In addition, the two-hour scenic ride I asked about was unavailable due to an ATV weekend. While we did see a flyer for the event, it wasn’t made clear that no horseback rides would be running during that time. That detail would have made a big difference in planning our trip. That said, the staff truly went above and beyond to make up for the disappointment. They allowed us to pay for an extra ride the following day and gave us a later checkout, which we really appreciated. Despite the miscommunication, we left with great memories and would love to return, especially once the river rides are available again.

The cabins we stayed in are state of the art, fresh, modern, and upgraded. There's an overall woodsy sense that feels authentic and refreshing. As for activities, there was plenty to do. Right away, we got onto the river for kayaking and paddleboating. Our kids loved the river experience, even going solo. The views and vibe are unreal. The brand new ropes course was enjoyed by kids and adults alike. We also enjoyed the scooters, game room, daily wagon ride and animals in the barn across the street. Cannot wait to be back.
