Large campsites. Very quiet but nothing to do. Unable to swim due to high bacteria levels in river. There was a dead seagull on the beach which should have been picked up. Garbage at dump station not picked up for 2 days & was overflowing. We left today (Mon morning) & last time Bathrooms were cleaned was Sat at 320. I had to go to the office & remind them

Great place, large lots. Do not go there to lay on the beach as it's covered in "migrating bird" /canada geese poop ! Water was however clear when we were there and not full of feathers like some other beaches in that area.

Fabulous trails... we like the bird trail... bring seeds and if you stay still long enough the birds will eat from your hand.

Nature lovers prime location for camping. Recommend booking long in advance. The restrooms and showers are not new but fairly well maintained. Boardwalk over a marsh near the registration office has plenty of birds and wildlife.

Trees are old, tall and shady. Campsite, large and grassy with a pleasant breeze off of the river. An occasional cargo ship slips by chugging upstream or drifting down. Quiet peaceful place to hang in a hammock swing.
