We went to Whispering Pines Camp Ground for an event. The place was meticulously maintained. And the upgrades that the new owner's have made bring it up to 5 stars for sure. Alot of drainage was put in so nobody gets swamped and the clubhouse was very inviting. I will revisit them when in the area for sure.

My time there started out fine. Then I found out when it rained I had been set up in a GIANT mudpit with my 4 year old. She was not allowed to play without people complaining, went and bought bark collars for my dog's and was told if they didn't be quite i would have to get RID OF THEM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE staying at this place the owner tells you what you want to here to get you in there an... My time there started out fine. It is a campground that gets you off the road and provides water and electric. There are apparently only two sites for travelers situated in a grassy area. There is a laundry and bathrooms in a house on the property. There is no office, owner or manager on site. One of the ladies across from the two sites came over to confirm that the spots we assumed to be available were indeed those for short stays, which was very helpful. I guess I expected more for the price charged.
