This is, by far, our favorite campground visit of the year. The bathrooms/showers are kept clean. The water pressure is excellent and the water temperature is good and warm. Not quite hot. Everything is kept well mowed and trimmed. Scenery is second to none. Absolutely gorgeous. Cell service is spotty at best. Most sites are without utilities. But some can be had in the south loop. I would have to say that this is the best campground in Vermont. The army corps do an excellent job in maintaining the grounds. The bathrooms have flush toilets free hot showers and are always clean. The bathrooms have flush toilets free hot showers and are always clean. Every site is large and has great grass. We go camping here at least 4 times a year and have never had a poor experience. Choose to relax in either the Winhall Brook or the West River. Walk, run or ride your bike on the trails. Some sites have power and water. Some sites have a lean-to. Cell service is not great and that makes it even better. We haven't stayed in a terrible site yet (I don't think there are any). To wrap this up, Winhall Brook Campground is a dog friendly, family friendly campground, and a great place to unplug and relax.

Amazing little spot in the middle of nowhere Vermont! Loved our stay. Really appreciated the trash bag given to us by the lady at check in, very nice little extra. Loved the dish washing station at the bathhouse, really handy since they were no hook up sites. No cell service to speak of but that kind of the point right? Overall we loved our stay and would stay there again if we were in the area.

A great experience from the time we arrived until we left. Beautiful campground that is well maintained by everyone there. No litter. Bathrooms and showers are a little dated but are spotlessly clean. River dissects the park into north and south sections. South side is accessed by a bridge which is right to turn onto. Wish we could have stayed longer.
