Really good location if you are hiking in the area. Wouldn’t recommend this campground if you are looking to lounge at the campsite a lot, it’s very small and there’s not much to explore aside from a waterfall down the hill. I’ve been coming here for years and have always found the caretakers friendly and washrooms clean. Only 2 showers in the women’s side so can get busy at peak times.

This was my first time here and I had a great experience! The campsites were clean and well-maintained, and the bathrooms were above average in cleanliness. The showers are included, and there are even flushing toilets and a sink for washing dishes! The staff were friendly and helpful, and they sell firewood on-site.

It's got bathrooms, showers, and is conveniently located only a short distance from Lake Placid. Only gripes are that the campsites could be a bit more secluded, and it could be farther back from the road. Overall pleased though.

This was our first time at this campground. We loved it. Bathrooms were clean. People were friendly if we get up for that part of New York. We will certainly stay there again. You have to go see the waterfalls down the hill.

We've come here for camping 4 years in a row. The location is perfect for what we do. The camp sites are about average at best. No hookups of any kind. I wonder if the care takers ever camped in their life? The good thing was that they offered ice and wood. That makes the cramped camp ground more useful. I don't have to go out for anything. But they stopped selling ice. And the wood is soaked. You need a flamethrower to light it. We'll likely be trying a new spot next year as a result. For the fee, there needs to be something you offer.
