We had never been to this area before but found this campground and we are so happy we did. The location was perfect, close to Smugglers Notch hikes and convenient to Stowe and Waterbury. We were greeted by Will who asked about our interests. He started sending emails to us immediately with hiking, restaurant, brewery, and things to do in the area. This was so helpful. We spoke with Will multiple times and he was always professional and informative. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to this area.

It is a beautiful location that was easy to find. We stayed in our camper but went out to see the Northern Lights. We didn’t see them but saw big, beautiful stars that you could almost touch!!! Really great place! Super dog-friendly. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Host was super friendly and caring. He even gives us a back and forth lift to a near hike and gave a lot of suggestions for activities. Location is great if you love the outdoors: Near a lot of hikes. Would definitely go back and recommend.

I found this relatively new campground on Google maps and verified it with RV Life. Overall, this is a nice campground, but the customer service and interaction with the owner is a double 5 star. The campground is an open field with mostly grass covered sites. This could be a problem if there is a lot of rain and you have a heavy class A motorhome. Sites are generally long and have plenty of room... Sites are generally long and have plenty of room on each side. Our site had 15-20 ft of room, out our entry door. Our motorhome is 50 amp and we had 124 v on both legs; water was 45 psi and good quality; and sewer required two lengths of hose and the receptacle was buried a bit. Getting around the roads of the campground for a large class A (ours is 45ft) is close. Upon exit, we had to have a guest move their car so we could make the turn. The road up to the campground is rough, and the road up to Smuggler's Notch is closed to larger vehicles - definitely motorhomes of any size and any 5th wheel. So, there is only one way in. The distance to Stowe is 15-20 min and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is super close as well. We've only been to this area once, but I think this campground is pretty central to the leaf peeping areas everyone wants to see. Again, I cannot say enough about the customer service and responsiveness of the owner and staff - simply top notch. We recommend this campground.

The location is awesome just a few miles from Smugglers Notch village and a short drive to Stowe, VT. Sites are large and spacious with full hook ups, we have a 44 foot fifth wheel.
