Great area to spend an hour. More so if you have a boat or kayak. We just stopped in with the family but very pretty area. Nice lake views. Was a clean area. We didn’t see any eagles but the winter is a good time to see them. Still fun times!

We had a great time at this establishment. Great people good times! Beth houses were clean and the staff was accommodating. Would recommend to anyone. The boat access was never really too busy and was very accessible.

Disclosure, we were there only a short period (one night). I was thinking 3/5 stars but went with 4 because of the short period we were there and it seems like it has great potential. I noticed many sites were not very level. If you have a rig, be prepared to perform advanced leveling procedures. That said, some sites were nice and level. Some sites are lake view and very nice. I was thinking 3/5 stars but went with 4 because of the short period we were there and it seems like it has great potential. I noticed many sites were not very level. If you have a rig, be prepared to perform advanced leveling procedures. That said, some sites were nice and level. Some sites are lake view and very nice. There is a swimming area and boat ramp. There was some evidence of maintenance needed. A handrail in our sire (A24) was missing and the faucet to our water had a small crack and sprayed water whenever on. The campground has three loops of campsites. Loops A&B have water and electric hookups, while loop C does not. I jogged in the morning and it was pretty hilly. But it gave me the opportunity to see all of the campsites. They were diverse from super to challenging. Best to get a recommendation on a site. We don’t recommend A24. It was listed as a pull through but was much safer to back in.

I’ve been coming to this place for many years with my best friend to do some hiking and hammock camping. Really well maintained park with very knowledgeable, professional and helpful park rangers. This place has much to offer besides its scenery. There are trails for all skill levels and of course the views are beautiful along the way. I’ve never been disappointed during my many visits to this won... I’ve been coming to this place for many years with my best friend to do some hiking and hammock camping. Very quiet in the off-season. Still several boaters enjoying the waterfront and surrounding areas.
