Very nice park and campground, grounds and facilities are clean. There are a lot of picnic area and rentable shelters. They have a very nice boat launch and there is even a little beach. Overall a very nice park. They have a very large fishing pier, everything is laid out nice and sites and areas well marked. Rangers patrol often, it's quiet, but I bet during the summer month it gets really busy... Very nice park and campground, grounds and facilities are clean. The views are great and Kerr Lake is very nice, the fishing was decent, swimming was great and it was dog friendly. There are some issues though. The restrooms/showers are very old and in disrepair. The tent sites are very small and some are on a slope with sharp rocks. Our site (21) had what looks to be an old boat ramp maybe? It made the water access very slippery and dangerous, we had 2 bad fal... The views are great and Kerr Lake is very nice, the fishing was decent, swimming was great and it was dog friendly. Our site (21) had what looks to be an old boat ramp maybe? It made the water access very slippery and dangerous, we had 2 bad falls on it. The campground can be quite loud after quiet hours, the boats and campers play loud music until late into the night with no management dealing with it. Your tent is only about 10 feet from your neighbors tent, so you will hear them all night if they are loud. Overall, if you can get past the noise at night, it's a nice campground and you will have a good time.

I stayed 3 nights at the campground 🏕️ Very peaceful and quiet. Sit and read a book. Build a campfire. 🔥 Set up a hammock. Grills♨️ and pits are provided. Well manicured waterfront RV sites. Boat ramp🚤. Community building. Picnic shelters with water. Fishing 🎣 pier.

Really awesome camping sites, 3 hot shower stalls, my site does not have electric but it was wonderful and quiet. The crows greets you early in the morning around 6 or so.
