The staff and the people of the Palmetto Council make this place a fantastic summer camp experience for Scouters. Scout spirit at CBH is top notch: Great conditioning for your soul. Cardiac Hill is awesome: Great for your conditioning your legs.

I loved the two or three times I was there -- I thin one as a scout, one for OA brotherhood and one as assistant SM. I remember one year we went to Camp Indian Chief in Greenville because they were building Bob Hardin. Before that the old side was Camp Palmetto and if I recall right was partically built by or as a CCC camp. Several years of fond memories for the old Camp Palmetto. All my exper... I loved the two or three times I was there -- I thin one as a scout, one for OA brotherhood and one as assistant SM. All my experiences were in the 1980s.
