We were visiting friends in Mt Holly for the weekend, so this location was great for us, about 20 minutes from the places we needed to be, our friends and the National Whitewater Center. We were visiting friends in Mt Holly for the weekend, so this location was great for us, about 20 minutes from the places we needed to be, our friends and the National Whitewater Center. The people in the office were super friendly. As are the people in the park. There's a lot of people that seem to live here full time and the park is huge, with a large lake for fishing. We have a smaller camper, so we were in spot 15, right near the pool. Hubby appreciated the flat pad for parking, and the full hook up, which was unexpected for us, we usually stay at state parks which only have partial hookups. I will say bathrooms could use a little improvement, though it seems like most people there don't use the bathhouse. The lights are on timers, which would shut off every time during showers, so be ready for that. We stayed over the Memorial Day weekend, and there were a bunch of activities going on, which is lots of fun for a campground. As a Veteran I very much appreciated the displays they had out correctly honoring the holiday. We'd definitely would come and stay again.

Our site was literally in a back parking lot behind a building. The campground is 90% seasonal and the only good thing I can say about that was the seasonals were very nice.

Best campground/RV park in the area. Fair priced and very comfortable. Everything is easy access with good accommodations. I love the key cards to enter the camp in a vehicle and everyone minding the speed limits. My baby son loved the park. It’s a very clean park that they take pride in. Our 40’ fifth wheel fit great with a truck and small car for parking. It’s very close to a laundromat and gas station. Plus a lot of awesome restaurants within 10 minutes. We were here in winter so not much outside activities but I can tell in summer this would be the place to be. My only complaint and it’s not the parks fault is the crazy drivers on 150. The road gets very very busy certain times of day. If I ever return I would hope to stay at CCC again. Thanks for having us.

We stayed here for 18 days starting the middle of June thru the 4th of July weekend. This park is 40+ years old and HUGE. It has a good number of permanent residents. I mean like some have been here 20 years....WOW! Most of those folks take pride in their space and are super friendly. This is a positive because you kind of feel like your staying in a mini house neighborhood. We stayed in section C site 12. This section is at the farthest location, in the back of the park. Almost a mile from the front gate. These sites are VERY tight. By tight I mean just wide enough for opposite side slides and awnings. All sites in this section are on packed gravel. Our site was pretty level and offered some shade. This section also had the best cell reception. Our T-Mobil got 5G 3bars. TIP: Site 10 is big in this section and has the good shade. However, it's also has a slope. If you need to work remotely or want to stream TV, park internet is spotty at best so, plan on Hot Spotting or using another service. The laundry building at this section has plenty of top load washers and front load dryers that looked clean. However, the buildings interior had a fowl musty smell. The bath house was a hike (from where we were), needs a thorough cleaning and was poorly maintained. There is only one 55 gallon trash can (at the playground) for the entire back section of the park. They don't offer site trash service so plan on driving your trash/doggie bags to the front of the park. Important for DOG Owners: We have a dog that is terrified of Fireworks and loud bangs. Management did not communicate that there would be a fireworks show, nor did we know that all egress past the pond (fireworks display area) would be closed for the show. Fortunately, we found out thanks to our neighbor in site 13 and we were able to medicate our pup before the show. The biggest complaint I have for this park, is it needs to enforce the rules posted on the website, customer service communication needs improvement and the bath/laundry buildings need to be cleaned and better maintained. Overall, we'd stay here again. It has a down home vibe and the park grounds are nice.

We have camped there for about 40 years. The bath houses have gone way downhill. Only 1 shower works in the back bathhouse on the ladies side, they are not cleaned like they used to be. The management is the worst it has been in the 40 years we were there. The traffic to get there is terrible too. This campground used to be fun and nice, but when the management buys side by sides instead of fixing up the campground then my rent money doesn’t need to go to make sure the manager has a party vehicle.
