Not a huge campground but very nice. Some campsites are on the water and others are in the trees. The views across the lake are beautiful. Facilities were very clean and well kept. Firewood must be bought at one of the nearby stores.

Longwood Park Campground is a beautiful Army Corp. of engineers campground on Kerr Lake — we had an incredible stay! The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with large, well-spaced campsites that include fire rings and plenty of room to spread out. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with large, well-spaced campsites that include fire rings and plenty of room to spread out. The paved roads throughout the campground made it perfect for bike riding, and the overall family-friendly atmosphere was fantastic. There’s no shortage of things to do — from birdwatching and peaceful nights by the campfire to swimming at the beach (don’t forget your swimsuit!) and tons of water activities right on the lake. They even have a loaner life jacket station in case you forget one for the kids — such a thoughtful touch! The playground is huge, and there are tons of picnic areas available for day use (small fee required). It’s also close enough to town to grab firewood or other essentials without a hassle. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning to this pristine, well-maintained campground. Highly recommend it for families, nature lovers, or anyone looking to unwind by the water

We’ve been camping at Longwood for over 10 years. Always a good campsite always clean the bathroom bathrooms are relatively well maintained only issue I ever have is quiet time at 10 PM when you’re camping seems kind of ridiculous But nonetheless, we always have fun there

The park's personnel is extremely pleasant and helpful. The check-in process is quick and simple. A quiet location with a pleasant and serene atmosphere. It's a beautiful park to visit and relax in! It has a fantastic great family atmosphere with a nice swimming area and a nice playground area, as well as breathtaking surroundings. I really enjoy touring Longwood Park.

Our favorite place to camp every year. They have great prices and everyone is so friendly. The campsites aren't too close together with lots of trees around. The view is just breathtaking! Great for summer and fall camping.

Wonderful campground with truly kind and welcoming staff. Patty was especially gracious and understanding when I arrived about an hour late, which immediately set a positive tone for my stay. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and incredibly peaceful, nestled among tall pine trees that make it feel secluded and calm. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the experience. I can only imagine how lovely this campground would be during the summer months. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

One of the worst places around. Especially the last Patty who works at the front desk. If you call and ask for a spot they instantly say they don’t have any available, but then if you talk to someone else they say they don’t know when they would ever have spots open. Hands down one of the worst experiences ever

Absolutely loved our time at Pisgah Forest RV. Stephanie, Todd and Pam were extremely hospitable and helpful and have created an amazing RV retreat. DuPont Forest trailheads right down the road, tons of local brewery and farm to table fare to choose from. The short term spots close to the pool were very nice. The pool was nice. The short term spots not on the same road as the pool were in the baking sun, on a hill. The boat ramp exists. There are raggedy docks covered in goose droppings. Extremely shallow water barely suitable for a pontoon or jet ski. But if you don't need luxury docks or want to put your body in the water, then I guess it works. It is in a no-wake cove, so still water. Lots of ick and trees and algae in the water until about 50 feet out from shore. Nice campground to walk the dogs around, though. The office is straight out of 1985, but it does the job. I would pick a different campground over this one, in the future, but I wouldn't say I would refuse to come back.

My wife found this hidden gem between Brevard and Hendersonville. You are ten minutes away from DuPont national park and fifteen minutes from Pisgah national park. 250 waterfalls in these parks. Lovely host , must see this to believe!!

This was a first time at this park for us and we were very impressed! Very clean and well maintained with several nice amenities. Everyone around us was nice and quiet. Would stay there again for sure. Great location as well! Our site had power, water and sewer. The dog park was a highlight for our pup.
