About Love Valley Campground

Campground in North Carolina.

Love Valley Campground offers a welcoming escape in the heart of North Carolina's Piedmont region, providing RV travelers with a peaceful base for exploring one of the state's most charming areas. Located in Statesville, this public campground serves as an ideal launching point for discovering the natural beauty and cultural attractions that define central North Carolina.

Statesville itself carries a rich history dating back to its founding in the late 1700s, and the surrounding region offers visitors an authentic blend of small-town character and outdoor recreation opportunities. The area is known for its rolling countryside, historic landmarks, and vibrant community spirit. Whether you're interested in exploring local history, enjoying outdoor activities, or simply taking a break from the road, the Statesville area provides plenty to discover.

The location puts you within reasonable driving distance of several noteworthy attractions. Lake Norman, one of North Carolina's largest man-made lakes, offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and waterside relaxation. For those interested in history and culture, the region features several museums and historic sites that tell the story of North Carolina's past. The nearby foothills provide scenic driving routes and hiking opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts looking to stretch their legs beyond the campground.

The Piedmont's temperate climate makes this an appealing destination during much of the year. Spring brings blooming flowers and mild temperatures perfect for exploring outdoor attractions, while fall offers stunning foliage and comfortable camping weather. Summer visitors can enjoy the region's various festivals and events, while winter's milder conditions compared to northern states make it accessible year-round for many RV travelers.

This area works particularly well for travelers seeking a slower pace of travel, families wanting to explore a manageable region without constantly moving camp, and anyone looking to experience authentic North Carolina hospitality. The central location makes it convenient for those traveling between major destinations on the East Coast.

😲 😱 😲 😱 I'm not sure what any of these other posts are talking about, but this place is an absolute diamond. It is, absolutely, beautiful. They're also currently in the process of upgrading the water and electricity to each campsites, but call me old fashioned i just post up between two trees!!

Had an awesome experience at Love Valley. 1st time sleeping under the stars & right across from the horse stables. Lots of fresh air up there & lots of time to spend with the most high in thought and reflection. Loved it ❣️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This campground could be nice with a little work. It is easy parking but not private campsites. Close to love valley Town. There was no water pressure at the right side of the barn. I set a 16 minute timer to fill my horses water bucket up and it still wasn't full. Then the shower situation....... the showers are NICE. However the ones in the weight room had no water AT ALL when the riders came back and started using the barn hoses. (Didn't figure that out till I was naked🙄) decided to use the showers in the red house and that water was barely above cold AND THE DOOR DOESNT LOCK, also there is 2 showers and 1 toilet in 1 room with no partitions so idk what kind of party we r having in there🤣. Overall I would go back just would make sure I took my own water and shower situation. The lady over the place did seem like she was trying to update and fix things as they came up but it was a super full weekend.

Love Valley has a tourist attraction area and it looks like an old ghost town. They have restaurants and Rodeos and places to shop for mostly Cowboy & Cowgirl apparel. Love Valley is a quiet Country Town located outside of Statesville N.C.

She yells and says if you don’t like it leave we did I don’t know where the good reviews came from but she is extremely rude I will advice everyone I talk to to stay clear of this place and its owner.
