Great backcountry camp. Flat ground. By a stream. Plenty of food hangers for bears. 1/4 mile from the lake. 3 miles off main trailhead. Close to several other trails which will take you throughout the park.

Hiked to campsite #74 from campsite #71 and I was very happy with this site. Open campsites that are side by side. Trees for hammocks and only the trail between the campsite and the creek. Fairly easy hike back to the parking area also.

Beautiful campsite next to a river that is large for the Smokies. It is very open, so there are no private spaces. You can walk to Lake Fontana.
