I just recently returned from four nights five days stay at Miller’s Campground in the house that they rent. The house is well kept clean good service and a lot of history. Had a lot of country feel to it very comfortable. The house is in a great location to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding area. On top of that it’s a great bargain.

Great campground with an excellent family vibe. Good mix of seasonal and weekend campers with lots of social activities. Location overlooks the blueridge parkway, which is yards away, with a small creek adjacent. Wifi is available and the campground has a level two EV charger. The camp hosts are fantastic and extremely helpful. It's a great place to unwind.

It is best accessed from the Blue Ridge Parkway then you don’t have to travel down a dusty gravel road to get there. Be aware, highway 18 from Sparta is a paved two lane highway that has NO SHOULDERS and is very winding. Not really Big Rig Friendly. There is pavement all the way unti you hit the park then it is dusty gravel. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic but not strictly enforced. Our neighbor had THREE yappy dogs. Two are supposed to be the max and breed restricted. Our site, 18, was a gravel based back in (that we were allowed to make into a pull thru) that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is fair for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even and included a wooden deck. Overall the park was clean and tidy. We did not use the park included wifi and there is NO cable TV. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite should not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There are trails from the park as well as fishing ponds on site. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but about a half hour drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be a great base to use visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway. We paid $44.00 per night inc tax and we feel we received good value. We will be back if in the area again.

The bathhouse is setup more like a guest bathroom with chairs ,makeup vanity and full length mirror , much better than most bathhouses with that locker room feel. The people there are some of the friendliest people anywhere, they’re there for anything you need but they never bothered us or intruded on our vacation. Beautiful grounds and views all of the spaces are well spaced well kept with a couple fishing ponds playgrounds and activities in the store . Very pet friendly and our dog found it very relaxing as well. We have lived and raised our kids in this area several years ago, we have been to most of the campgrounds around here and stayed in many different campgrounds across the country ,this is by far one of the best
