Out of all the campground we have visited this may be our favorite. We usually stay in the dry camping section on the B loop. The sites at the end are right on the water. It's a bit of a walk to the bath house from the end of B loop but not terrible. We usually come near the end of their season in October so the weather is a mixed bag. There are multiple boat ramps in the park as well as day use areas. It's probably the best maintained campground we go to.

My happy place and favorite campground with multiple beaches! My husband and I come here several times a year for weekend camping. The campsites are large and most loops have access to a beach. North Bend Park & Campground sits on Kerr Lake on the Virginia side. Only 30 minutes to Clarksville, VA.

This is the single greatest lake in southern VA. The tranquility and beauty is unmatched. Excellent for swimming, fishing, and a paddlebaorders heaven. The sites are superb. Come and enjoy yourself. It breaks my heart to even share such a rare gem, but who am I to guard the splendora made for all of us. Pick up your trash, no glass or alcohol, and keep your music low.
