We had a wonderful stay at Emberglow! We won a two-night stay that was originally planned as a couples trip, but when our childcare plans fell through, they kindly upgraded us so we could bring our boys. We were so grateful for their kindness and big hearts. The yurt was clean and beautiful, the campsite was peaceful, and there was plenty to keep our 5- and 11-year-olds entertained. We love Emberg... We stayed the night because we participated in the Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt. It was a BLAST!! We stayed in the smaller yurt. My favorite part of the yurt was shutting the lights off to go to sleep, looking at the skylight and seeing the stars!! Wow!! What an unexpected surprise! The campground is far enough away from city lights that the night sky is so clear to see. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with my questions leading up to our visit. We’d definitely recommend Emberglow Campground. You won’t regret it!

We loved our site at Emberglow. We had site #86 and it was so spacious. It also has its own kitchen hut. We had a group of 9 and this was the perfect spot for us to gather and not disturb others around us. We wanted to come and support the WNC area. The devastation is still very present but the hope and faith is so strong. The area is recovering and we were so happy to come visit Lake Lure and Chi... We loved our site at Emberglow. Excellent campground. They pretty much have it all. We brought our adult kids who tent camped in the primitive sites and we stayed in our RV in a full hookup site. There's a very nice pool, pickle ball courts, a very well stocked camp store and a super clean and nice bath house.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in our RV. Beautiful, well maintained grounds with plenty of activities for kids and adults. This may sounds silly but we were pleasantly surprised with the water pressure! Been camping for 2 years now and usually our RV shower trickles but the pressure was great here. We will be back!
