We will definitley be returning to Riverwalk! Upon pulling in with our rig we were met and welcomed then lead to our site. Full hookups were available and a breeze to set up. Be sure to bring a water pressure regulator. The water pressure is very high, but they warn you about this upon entry and have regulators available in the camp store in case you need one. The water pressure is very high, but they warn you about this upon entry and have regulators available in the camp store in case you need one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have level lots with plenty of room between you and your neighbors with trees and shrubs nicely landscaped to give you your own space. They have a playground, a dog park and a pond with a sandy beach! They are very dog friendly and on the other side of the pond is a small sandy beachlike area just for dogs to enjoy the water. The bath house and showers were heated, very nice and kept clean. This weekend they had live music and food trucks creating a festive fall atmosphere. Located on the Yadkin River Greenway you can take a nice walk enjoying nature and even a covered bridge or even a walk or short drive to Elkin for a nice small town downtown atmosphere with great restaraunts shopping and antiquing. You won't be disappointed if you camp here. We will be back!

We were there for a 4 day weekend in early October 2025. The park is easy to find and in a quiet location. The sites are spacious and clean, and are kept in good contition. There's a picnic table and fire pit at each site. The office will deliver any items you may need to purchase from them (including firewood or ice). Office personnel were very friendly and warm. There's a bath house and laundry on site (we did not use either). The park wifi works very well. There's a dog park and a small pond with a beach and seating area which would be great for warmer weather. There's also a pavilion for gathering together. While we were there, there was a food truck, an ice cream truck, and a brewery truck on site to celebrate the local Autumn Leaves Festival in nearby Mount Airy (roughly 30 mins away). All said and done, it's a great place to stay if you're in the area or passing through. We would definitely go back.

Riverwalk continues to be our favorite place to escape to. It’s peaceful, clean, and feels so welcoming every single time we visit. This was our first time camping at Riverwalk RV Park on the Yardkin River and it will definitely not be out last. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a very pleasant and well informed camp host. She shared info about the park, gave us a 'welcome bag' that included treats for our dog and another camp host escorted us to our camp site. It is obvious the owners and those working there take... The grounds are well maintained, our site was level (site 42) and the bathhouse was clean - we didn't use the bathhouse but always like to check it out just in case. We stayed during the week, which was nice and quiet. It was a nice time away and we look forward to staying with them again.
