Quick local getaway just to park the camper by the creek for a few days. Only 15 min from our home but what a change of scenery! So nice and peaceful. Very quiet. We had site 8 and had wonderful views of the creek!

I stayed here for 10 months due to a work assignment, and I do not have any complaints. The sites are private, very peaceful, serene, and safe. Owners are wonderful and helpful. Trout stream running by all the sites was refreshing to jump in during the summer. I highly recommend.

Beautiful, Serene location out in the wonderful North Carolina mountains. Quiet, lovely owners, river access, large lots. Best perk of all (in my opinion, because they were raised by me haha) are the 2 male Rouen ducks (Bubbles & Bubba) who have made the rv park their home. They love food and will sleep under your rig. Enjoy a peaceful stay by the river here.

Absolutely awesome! Yes, Stoney Fork Campground checks all the "boxes" for me. While it is a small campground (only 9 sites) it is BIG in what counts. It is quiet, has beautiful ambiance with the spring-fed stream behind all 9 sites, and has great people, many of whom are long-term campers. It has full hook-ups, nice level sites with picnic tables and a fire pit. Jim and Kathy (owners) are... Absolutely awesome! Yes, Stoney Fork Campground checks all the "boxes" for me.
