The Unaka Mountains area is characterized by dense forests, rolling ridges, and pristine wilderness that stretches across the Tennessee-North Carolina border. The landscape here tells the story of ancient geology and enduring natural processes, with elevations that provide cooler temperatures and refreshing mountain air even during warm months. As you settle into your RV site, you'll immediately feel the peaceful embrace of this mountain environment, where the pace of life slows and the stresses of everyday living seem to fade away.

What makes this location particularly special is its proximity to some of the Southeast's most rewarding outdoor adventures. The nearby mountains are home to diverse wildlife, and keen observers might spot deer, wild turkeys, and numerous bird species throughout the seasons. Wildflower displays paint the hillsides in spring, while autumn transforms the canopy into shades of gold, orange, and crimson.

The area appeals to a wide range of RV travelers. Adventure seekers will appreciate the proximity to excellent hiking and outdoor recreation opportunities. Photography enthusiasts will find endless subjects throughout the changing seasons. Families can enjoy nature-based activities that create lasting memories, and those seeking peaceful retreat will discover the tranquility that mountain camping provides. Absolutely loved our stay here. Great new Campground in the area. The owner was absolutely amazing very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Hard-working gentleman and also had a nice girlfriend that was cheerful and had some good conversations with the wife. We will definitely come back here again. That being said it was easy for us to get our 45 ft toy hauler in and out

If you're looking for concrete pads, a pool, and bath houses, look elsewhere. However, this is a nice little spot in the mountains out in the country with mostly full-time RVers. The owner-operators are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We have Verizon and were able to stream here. It is very quiet and peaceful. The campground is a work in progress with more sites under construction. Road... If you're looking for concrete pads, a pool, and bath houses, look elsewhere. Roads in the CG are gravel, and so are the sites that are level-ish.

We recently purchased our first camper, and this was our first trip. This place was absolutely perfect for us “first timers!” The owner was so helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this RV park. Gorgeous sunsets, peaceful, and a short drive to Lake Lure.

New park, so groundwork is not completed. Small park, convenient location, owners are TOP NOTCH! Super friendly and several of the campers are full time, all are super nice and take care of their site.
