Wintergreen Campsite

We recently spent almost a month at Snowcut (visiting family) and were very happy with our experience! The sites were spacious and well maintained. Loved the astroturf right outside our door. Kept down on dirt and no mud when it rained. Full hookups and WiFi worked perfectly. Internet went out once and was fixed in a timely manner with a phone call to management. Loved the astroturf right outside our door. Kept down on dirt and no mud when it rained. Full hookups and WiFi worked perfectly. Internet went out once and was fixed in a timely manner with a phone call to management. There was no management on site but responded quickly through the online portal. The grounds keepers were actively visible keeping the place looking spotless. The laundry room was spotless. Washer and dryer were spotless. Bathroom was very clean. The only negative takeaway was the door to the women’s shower and toilet stalls would not lock just due to warping/settling of the structure. The mechanisms did not line up to lock. There was a keypad code door lock to the laundry room and the bathroom entrances which was nice. We were there during the off season (February) and it seemed like the other residents were seasonal local workers which at first concerned me but they were gone most of the day and must have went home on the weekend. We look forwards to staying again in the future!

Great place to camp just before the bridge to Carolina Beach. Online registration and check-in. I never saw anyone from the campground. Very clean. No playground or pool, just a place to camp and relax. Bathhouse looked nice, but I didn't use it. Small picnic tables on astroturf grass on door side of camper. Nice fire rings. Level lots. Super quiet, family environment. Plenty of trailer space for us (30ft) and our pontoon inflatable. LOVE the astroturfing on the front, easy on the feet and keeping sand out of the camper. Bath house was clean and had sample size shampoos and conditioner in you happen to need. Easy to park in and pull out and get around the grounds. Will definitely stay again.
