Arrived at 4:00PM on the first Friday of October. Beautiful weekend. Only 2 out of the 7 sites were taken. By nightfall, 2 sites were still available. People with trailers need to drive a little further up to turn around to have the right angle to pull in. Fire pits needed to be cleaned out and site #7 was missing the grill grate. Short walk up the road caught some good sized trout. Overall clean... Arrived at 4:00PM on the first Friday of October. Beautiful weekend. Only 2 out of the 7 sites were taken. NOTE: Buy wood from the guy in Green Cove. $10 for a LOT of wood (half pine/half hardwood). Way better prices than in Tellico Plains.

Beautiful spot directly on the Tellico river. There is a country store down the road a spell but the supermarket in Tellico Plains is quit a hike so load up before you get here.

Great place to get off grid and enjoy the surroundings. To the lady that complained about "not a good place to fish" because of staying hung in the rocks and trees.... next time try fishing in the water...

Pretty good place to camp. Not a lot of shade, but right on the water and only 7 spots for tent or small RVs. Only $10/nite, vault toilet. Not power, no water.
