The road was still closed for repairs following Helene but it was in great shape with fresh gravel. The campground area has been recently mowed but more of cleanup work along the creek is needed.

Great site for group (up to 60 people) camping. Located just 40 minutes from Asheville near Brevard NC. Large meadow and plenty of treeline for setting up camp. Cathy's Creek within walking distance. Several hiking trails and a waterfall nearby. Bathrooms and a well with potable water on site also.

This is a beautiful, secluded, piece of unadulterated nature. Great for small, medium or larger campouts and gatherings. Out house was pretty decent. Lots of creeks and trails. Picnic tables and lots of open space.
