What a magical place! Awesome little hike to the water which is so fresh and lovely. Our daughter was in love with it and we fell asleep watching the fireflies above us. Everyone was chill and calm. Definitely want to come back and spend more time.

Alright place. Tucked in the valleys of the mountains and quite secluded on the weekdays, despite campsites being very close together. Each site has a pit, picnic table and tent area. No showers, but the restrooms were very clean and fully stocked (women's, anyway...) No star or sunrise/sunset views and had notably loud traffic day/night. Only $8/night though, can't go wrong there.

Closed for camping. Only go for loop trail which is cleared of fallen trees and obstacles. Interesting hike with lower section following the creek. Limited parking outside locked gate.

Great place to camp. The stone work that was put into this place back in the sixties is just incredible! Every site is unique. Hiking includes a short hike to the lookout into the gorge of Spring creek (Great view), then to a really old cemetery on the ridge top. Kids enjoyed that late night hike. A moderate hike down to the creek is totally worth the trip. Good trout fishing and wildlife viewing.... Great place to camp. Art is a great host, takes really good care of the place. The best part, 8 bucks a night and day use is free!
