Always loved it. It has been a few years since I've been there. I went many times. The kitchen facilities were great. On each end of the retreat cabins there are 2 large 'bathroom/hot h20 shower' facilities. Because the distance from one end to the other was pretty large our group just did gender-neutral restrooms. Also the central kitchen/eating building has single restrooms. As the kids ran in... As the kids ran in and out of the central eating area, I remember the screen door slaming shut- time and time again. It probably should have annoyed me but I really enjoyed the enthusiasm of the children. Upstairs in the other building we brought sound equipment and had Square dances and other entertainment. And at the creek on Sunday morning we had services, often with a little mist adding atmosphere. There were several good hikes right out of the retreat area. Once we had some plumbing problems, and whoever was in charge had somebody there in less than an hour. That's the only recommendation I have for whoever is in charge. Great. Many many fond memories. Always loved it. I'm sure you and your group will love it.

A beautiful location. Good to excellent lodging options. If they had reliable internet and phone service, I would give five stars. However, the camp cannot mostly control that.

I have been visiting this special place for almost 40 years now. My grandmother was in the first group of campers there when it started. I really enjoy how this place restores your soul and revives your spirit. A great experience for all ages.

We had a birthday party there recently and the main building had no air conditioning at all but the cottages do and for the money we spent to rent that facility the owner at least could have made sure there's air conditioning in that building there's no excuse for anything less hopefully they'll learn something by my comments if not it will never get my recommendation and I am not just whistling D...
