about 28 years ago I had a small old camper at camp Clearwater and we enjoyed going down but then they started going up on the lot rent so I ended up having to sell it. But I went camping with my sister and her husband for the Halloween weekend bash and had a blast. I love it here it's family oriented kids can go out and play and have a good time I do not like the fact of how many little kids ride... about 28 years ago I had a small old camper at camp Clearwater and we enjoyed going down but then they started going up on the lot rent so I ended up having to sell it. I love it here it's family oriented kids can go out and play and have a good time I do not like the fact of how many little kids ride around driving the golf carts but that's neither here or there all in all the campground is an awesome place for anyone to take a vacation. And ski burger is the best place ever and always has been.

Very sketchy place. The people make you feel watched. Save yourself the waste of time and drive straight to myrtle Beach. It's not what it's used to to be. Dried up, waste of money ran down. Nothing to do. 5 restaurants all owned by the same family who owns the campground and all the minutemen gas stations. Very weird town. If your not from around there, you do NOT BELONG AND YOU ARE NOT WELCOME.

Our winter home! We love it here. The grand babies love visiting from Ny while we are here. We go to NY during the summer and never have to worry while we are up north! Sharon K

RUN, RUN AWAY FAST!! I have personal experience! If you care about your finances, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!! THEY have started adding EVEN MORE unexplainable 'fees' supposedly to improve the campground. They haven't fixed the problems with drainage and SMALL children, who are not covered by insurance but still let golf carts be babysitters without any consequences! YOU HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER SAYING... RUN, RUN AWAY FAST!! I have personal experience! If you care about your finances, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!! We do enjoy vacationing there. It has become quite busy. That is just the downside for us, great foe their business. With all of the people, noise can be a factor. If you dont mind the people and the noise, definitely try it out. There is a nice dog run if you have a dog. I used that in the early morning and late evening and there were no other dogs. We had it to ourselves.
