I definitely feel safe here and put at ease with knowing that if I need anything, they would do their best to accommodate! This is our second time at this KOA and the very first time we’ve booked the same campground ever! We will only use this KOA when coming into town! I highly recommend staying here in either cabins or with your RV! They do have washer and dryers but not that big or a spot, if it’s too busy in there, there is a coin laundry right across the street!

This specific campground is not all at in sync with what we are used to from KOA. Our friends rented a cabin, and we stayed in our 38 foot motorhome. Our friends rented a cabin, and we stayed in our 38 foot motorhome. The cabin was clean, but the pots and pans need to be disposed of. They were badly scratched and dirty. The toilet was leaking upon arrival. The Wi-Fi was very spotty, at best. The area directly in front of our RV site was flooded, even though it hadn’t rained in days. We had to cross other campsites to avoid walking through a huge puddle. The pool and hot tub were also not working. We called and texted the emergency number about the leaky toilet, but never received a reply. I visited the office the following morning, and the woman who helped me was very helpful, and addressed most of our concerns. I asked for a partial refund for the first night due to the pool and hot tub not being available, and because the cabin bathroom was not useable the first night. She assured me should would follow up, but that never happened. We paid $345 a night for the deluxe cabin. I understand things go wrong sometimes, but this KOA could have handled the situation better. The vibe of this KOA was just off, and not the quality service we have become accustomed to from KOA.

The location alone is a huge plus—you’re minutes from Dollywood, The Island, and all the fun in Pigeon Forge, but still tucked away enough to feel like a real camping getaway. The sites are well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are solid. We enjoyed the pool area, the camp store is well stocked, and the bathhouses were clean throughout our stay. It’s an easy spot for both RVs and tent campers, and the campground feels safe and organized. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the sites can feel a bit close together during busy weekends, and the traffic getting in and out can be a little hectic—but that’s expected in Pigeon Forge. Overall, KOA Pigeon Forge is a dependable, enjoyable place to camp, and we’d definitely stay again!

I rented a cabin right on the river which was awesome for sure. Had my own porch and grill. But the cabin itself was filthy, I walked in and it smelled of dog and I could see that there was some leftover dog food ground into the floor. I also found some dog fur and the refrigerator wasn't very clean. I tried to call but it was after hours and since I was only staying two nights I decided to just live with it, I spent most of the day traveling the area so wasn't really a big deal. But hopefully for the future they clean the cabins a lot better between guests.

We had an issue during our stay because of the extremely low temperatures. The campground had a waterline break. They were so quick to help and actually credit us back for one night even after we told them that they did not have to. They wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and they felt so bad about the inconvenience. It was so refreshing to stay somewhere where we felt valued and taken care of. We have scheduled our next vacation in June returning to this site. Thank you, KOA.

Great campground! Staff were helpful in recommending areas of interest. Clean and well maintained. Bonus: indoor pool during cool weather! My dog loved his private dog park. We loved the fire pit with bench and table and chairs (much nicer than a basic picnic table! Stayed at many KOA’s and this was one of the best!

I was extremely disappointed with this “ vacation “ due to this KOA… my in-laws booked a cabin for us when we arrived we went to pay for it and get our key. Upon arrival we walk into a 10 x 10 box with jailhouse mattresses with a mini fridge and a small TV and a heater that does not work in 20° weather. The office closed and we were unable to get in touch with them when we tried to call numerous amount of times.. the next morning I went into the office to complain about our cabin being 20° (my husband used his work tool to get the temperature of the cabin to show them )when we were sleeping freezing, our door would not closing all of the way and spiders, dust, etc were all over the place … So we upgraded to a cabin to one that had a bathroom, shower kitchen, etc. for 500+ more dollars…. When we arrived to the new cabin the cabin was filthy. There was visible mold in the shower, on the curtain, behind the kitchen sink, and even inside the provided shampoo and conditioner dispensers (which flew off when I was in the shower, hitting me in the mouth) we couldn’t even use the freezer because it had previously had a soda in it from the prior guest that exploded…. Once again, tried to call the office and got no answer so we gave up and drove to town for the day and used our in-laws freezer for the remainder of our stay and I got some cleaning supplies to clean the showers and bathroom, etc. so we could stay in the cabin and I would feel clean… not only was the cabin filthy. There wasn’t even enough sheets to make the extra beds we had in the other cabins for our daughter and her boyfriend. Then they tried to go to the office to rent a cabin because they were not enough sheets for the beds or room to walk around with 4 people in a “big deluxe” cabin and the ones that we had rented. They were given a cabin, similar to the first one that we had entered… The door did not open for a long time and then when they got it open, they couldn’t get it to close and the heater did not work either in that cabin on the opposite side of the park where we are at. Our daughter‘s boyfriend went in to let them know what was going on. They wanted to give them a tiny rinky-dink heater in this cold weather. He said absolutely not. I’ll just take an upgrade and I’ll pay the difference. They did not want to give him the upgrade, even though they had the space so he made them refund the money to him. We had to make do go to Walmart and buy sheets as well because we were tired of dealing with the awful staff, who clearly doesn’t care about their guest. I hate this because this place used to be an amazing KOA with a beautiful view. Now it’s dreadful and dirty. We were shocked by the lack of cleanliness, especially considering the otherwise high standards of the campground. It’s clear the cabins had not been properly cleaned or maintained in quite some time. The only thing positive I could say about this campground is the view and the trout streams around . Other than that, I would recommend getting a hotel or stay at a different campground! (I TOOK MAINLY VIDOES BUT IT Fortunately, for this, KOA won’t load on here I can only add photos)
