Newport is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

This is a quiet campground. They have everything you need to stay long-term or just a visit. They have a playground and a pool for the family, even a nice dog park for our pets to enjoy running. I do recommend staying with Tana Sea. They're priced very reasonable and the management is very friendly and make sure you have everything you need. I will be back.

Very conveniently located for a 2-night stop-over. Not fancy and not a "resort", but completely functional and acceptable. VERY nice staff. Level gravel site. Reasonable price. There are some permanent sites, but they were well kept and semi-segregated from where we "passing-through" guests were placed on an ample pull-through site. We would definitely stay here again. We absolutely loved our stay at Tana-See Campground! Melissa, the manager, and her team - Chris, Bill, and Matthew are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. Everything was well maintained and the views are stunning! If you are looking for a clean, friendly, and affordable place to stay in Tennessee this it it!

The park is quaint. We were greeted by a nice man He took us to our site. We only spent 1 night. I went to use the ladies shower and was not impressed. The floor is concrete which was in need of painting. The showers had been retired. I looked before I stepped in and I thought the grout job was not very nicely done. After I was in I realized it was not grout smeared it was poop. Now at this point... The park is quaint. We were greeted by a nice man He took us to our site. We only spent 1 night. I quickly finished up and got the hell out of that bathroom. Bathrooms are my pet peeve. The park was older but was nice but for the bathroom issue I would not be able to return.

We are long-term guest here and in the time we’ve been here we’ve seen some great improvements. The dog park is a wonderful place for our dog to be safe and run free. One bathhouse has been freshly painted and updated and the other is scheduled to be done, There are mature trees in the park lots of activities very friendly and family like atmosphere. it is also close to Gatlinburg in pigeon Forge,...
