I really enjoyed my stay! The hosts are hard working, creative as hell! Guess what, Saturday was movie night by the outdoor theater! They sold freakin funnel cakes for the price of almost nothing! I was shocked! Such a core memory I’ll never forget thank you for giving an amazing stay after our long road trip from Smokey mountain! Yall are amazing! Also ice and wood is so cheap here! 7lb of ice for $3 cheaper than a gas station! Absolutely amazing! God bless yall

Camped here with a few friends. We reserved spots next to each other. Was a great experience. Camp staff was cool. Bathrooms and campsites were clean. Other campers were chill. People respected the quiet times in the evenings. Only thing is the spots are kind of close so be prepared for that

After 4 years, we absolutely love this place! I guess you can call it a tradition now. We come the 2nd weekend of October for the Sauerkraut Festival in nearby Waynesville which happens the same time as the Renesaince Festival so the campground is busier than most OSP campgrounds that week/weekend. We come the 2nd weekend of October for the Sauerkraut Festival in nearby Waynesville which happens the same time as the Renesaince Festival so the campground is busier than most OSP campgrounds that week/weekend. Over the past 3 years and during the covid years they did a lot of work on the park and it shows. They have added quite a few full hook up sites. We like these when the weather turns cold. This is USUALLY our last trip of the year. Like many OSPs the sites are pretty large. We have loved all the park staff we have met. The maintainance people must be pretty top notch too, but I've never met them! In my first 3 years I've seen things that need fixed only to see them fixed and improved the next year. The washroom/bathhouse near our site has a family/handicap room that is one of the best I've seen camping and it very much appreciated. We will be back in 2026.

Super cool Irish lady at the check in store. Very helpful and sweet. Nice spots. We tent camped at space 128. Just enough flat ground behind the parking spot, for an 8 person tent. Anything more and you'll be sloped. Playground behind us has 4 swings, a tetherball set up and a sand box. Nothing special but it rained all day so our son didn't use it anyway.
