First time ever going camping. We just purchase a RV in July. So many things we didn’t know. We pulled up there Friday with the warmest greeting. Employees was exceptionally nice. Other camper was truly a gem to be around. Felt like we had left the out side world and was joined near the lakers with others that had left. Hated to leave . Definitely will be returning. We were given site 37 - in between two old permanent campsites. The drive was narrow, and most difficult to back into. Although I read a review about the WiFi, we were told there was NO WiFi by the staff. *Both staff members that we met were positive, and helpful - Hunter and Dustin. The location was good for attending the Canfield County Fair.

To start, when I made the reservation, I chose a full hook up spot. Evidently they moved us to an electric/water only spot without our knowledge because I know that the spot they mentioned when we got here was not the spot I chose. Well they ended up putting someone in that spot before we got here by mistake. So they had no choice but to put us in a full hook up spot which I guess is for seasonal and full time residents. The area on the hookup side of our RV was always flooded and made it a total mess when emptying our sewage and gray water. Several of the full time sites were not maintained. The website states that they have 50 amp hookups, but they do not. The electrical plugs are old. Unsure of when they were last inspected. They do have a nice dog park on site. I do not recommend this RV park.

We wanted to see the band for Fourth of July, but we didn’t try to reserve until late. However, Hunter and Dustin made it happen for us!!! They worked very hard to get some new sites ready despite the rainy weather we had and were able to get us in! The weekend was FANTASTIC, the staff were phenomenal, the band was GREAT and the fireworks were AMAZING! One of the BEST camping trips EVER!

The campground had a lot decorating contest, kids and adult Halloween costumes, euchre, decorate a tie die bag, bingo, trick or treating, a photo booth, a Dj and a haunted trail for both littles and adults. We had a big group that went. I actually went....there may have been alittle tinkle lol some tears too! They really put alot into 2 weekends for Halloween for everyone. River's Edge Campground and Resort thank you for everything! Fun had by all!

We stayed Sunday to Friday in late July 2025 and absolutely loved our stay. Pool, swimming pond with trampoline, a trampoline jumping pillow (not in the water), a fishing pond, arcade - which I don’t recommend spending your money there as we lost money and so did our cousins. We lost money on the pool game that wouldn’t spit the cue ball back out and a few of the arcade games. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and newer. The campground is pretty clean. Nothing too bad. Some pieces of garbage here and there but I picked up things myself as I was walking my dog around. Not one piece of dog poop was spotted so everyone seems to clean up after their pets. Garbage is picked up every morning if out at 10 am. We didn’t get it picked up one day and that may have been our fault as we had left it open because we were still adding things to it. They do have raccoons so make sure you don’t leave garbage and food out at night. They are butted up to some woods so this is natural. They have a laundry mat on site which is kinda pricey. The washer was $3 and the dryer $3.50. They weren’t really big either, not the jumbo commercial size ones. But they did work and the dryer is gas so worked great with just one use even for a quilt. Very friendly people for the most part. We’ve been to other campgrounds that the seasonal don’t even wave or speak to you. They will even block the road and finish their conversation before they move. We had no problems like this here. We didn’t have anyone to escort us in so was told to follow a map which we had no problems doing. The only thing I would suggest is one of the owners to come by after set up to check on your campers to see if they have any problems and introduce yourselves. We didn’t have problems it just would have been a nice personal touch IMO. This is such a nice place that there is a THREE YEAR waiting list to get into a seasonal spot!! We will definitely be back another time. Oh, forgot to mention there is a nice little path to follow into the woods along a little stream. Great photo opportunities. AND they have a very nice playground, an amphitheater with a band or DJ that plays in the weekends. Last thing I’ll mention is you have to pay $20 per week, per Devine for WiFi which threw me off as most campgrounds offer free WiFi. They do have free WiFi in the pavilion. So because of this and the price of laundry use I am giving them a 4 star. Otherwise, it would definitely be 5 stars.

The kids stay busy for hours on the bounce pillow, full size basketball court, playing gaga ball or on the playground equipment. The swimming pond and pool are great for hot summer days and also very clean! The arcade and pavilion activites are perfect for the cooler and rainy days! There's also a big fire pit and cornhole area if you're feeling like mingling. Can't forget the trails through the woods with the best scenic views of the river. We got to watch an awesome concert put on by Jason Cross this weekend, huge bonus we had the best view from our site! This place is only 15 minutes from our home but is the nicest, most reasonably priced campground we've ever been to! Golf cart rentals are the cheapest we've ever found. Just book the site and let the amazing memories begin!

Also impressed with the activities for adults. We had an awesome time at concert with Cougar Hunter, rocking out to some old classic 80s music. We enjoyed Adult only time at the pool, and also taking rides on golf cart throughout campground and various trails. We enjoyed our time so much that we have already booked two more trips back before the end of the season. The campground staff were more than helpful, and very very pleasant to interact with. We are so glad that we decided to come check it out, since it is far enough away from home, but yet not to far. Restrooms/ Showers were very clean. Loved that they also have on site laundry. We are definitely looking forward to making many more memories at Rivers Edge Campground and Resort. Thank you to all the seasonal campers that welcomed us to their little piece of heaven!!!
