The campground has a lot of potential but during our stay we experienced some drawbacks. First there was a power issue causing multiple sites to have no power overnight. The water pressure when the park is full is awful. The pool is always so cloudy but is very nice. Lastly all the events were canceled such as karaoke and pool party. You pay a high price for your site and expect certain things to... The campground has a lot of potential but during our stay we experienced some drawbacks. There's fantastic room between sites, and the two fishing ponds actually deliver – you can catch fish! We enjoyed exploring the little walking trails and spotting all sorts of critters, including turtles, rabbits, fireflies, and other wildlife that kept us entertained. The park offers a variety of nice sites, whether you prefer being by the pond, along the treeline, or more central. We loved it so much that we extended our stay from two weeks to three weeks! The staff are truly outstanding, always friendly and helpful. A special treat was the Amish family who sells delicious baked goods and fresh vegetables right at the park on Saturdays. This is a well-kept park with plenty of room to roam, making it incredibly comfortable. It also served as a great home base for exploring the stunning Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the charming Amish area near Berlin. We highly recommend it!

What a beautiful camping facility! Great scenery. The staff were so so friendly and helpful, they even took the time to help pump up bicycle tires for our kids. The only gripe is we went tent camping and there was ZERO shade! Almost all other sites had tree cover. The tent sites where in a large open field.

We went back for the first time since it changed from being a KOA and had a nice experience. Overall the campground was in good shape, very clean and the restrooms are very nice (individual rooms and showers with locking doors). While we were there, they had a vendor fair which was fun and we enjoyed supporting the locals and seasonal campers. There was also a food truck there Friday night and most of Saturday that provided food and treats which was great in the heat. The pool is a great size but I agree with others on the cloudiness. There isn’t a lifeguard, so you rely on parents to keep an eye on their children. The staff was nice, although you could tell they were short staffed. We brought our own internet but saw a difference in the park internet on Saturday vs Thursday. They have a lot of nice sites, some with a good amount of shade or lake views. We will definitely be back. I do advise to check out the local raceway schedule in advance as well if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We could hear the racetrack into the early morning hours as there was a big event that weekend. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
