We came from Alabama. We met with friends at hocking hill camp ground got a beautiful campsite and the weather was perfect got to ride two great days. The trails are well maintained and beautiful sites. But on day 3 I got sick went to urgent care but that didn’t help. Friday I went to er at hocking hills hospital were they determined I had pneumonia. after 3 days of treatment there they s... We came from Alabama. But on day 3 I got sick went to urgent care but that didn’t help. Friday I went to er at hocking hills hospital were they determined I had pneumonia. after 3 days of treatment there they sent me to Fairfield medical center in Lancaster Ohio. There I had surgery to relieve the fluid around my lungs. It has been a really rough week but on the road to recovery thanks to the doctors and nurses at both hospitals. They were wonderful I plan to be released tomorrow Monday 9-23-24. I’m sure I will never forget this trip. But I do hope someday to come back 🤠

Fantastic place to ride. Be sure to have shoes on your horse, as the trails are very rocky. Be prepared for lots of steep hill climbing and great photos. You also must bring something to pick up and haul your manure up to the bunkers they provide. Its requied to pick up your picket area. Picket lines are provided. Very nice place with nice people. Our area was very spacious and quiet. We were able to go to all of our points of attractions with a small drive, come back and eat lunch and head out again. There is a nice beach and extra stuff in Logan to do. This is a rustic place so its pit toilets and the showers are rustic.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Smaller camp with electric and primitive sites. Very quiet and surrounded by parkland with trail access.
