The overall cleanliness of the grounds and the views of the tree covered hills around you were beautiful. The staff in the store were to the point and got us what we needed. Now on to the places where they can improve . There were ZERO quiet hours enforced the first night. Music was played throughout the tent camping area until 4AM and it only stopped because a storm rolled through. There obviously is no night watch there or they were cozy in their beds that evening. The female restroom was completely clogged up (every toilet) Sunday morning and that was before the office opened so the girls had to do their business elsewhere. Lastly for having river activities they seemed ill prepared to deal with the amount of customers they had. It was an hour and a half after we signed up to leave that a van finally picked us up. This could be an AMAZING place but the owners need to start taking control. I would try it again in the future and I hope they can make improvements in the meantime.

There are signs for quiet time 11pm-9am being "enforced", it is NOT! You could feel and hear the music in the camper from sites away. There are signs for 5mph "enforced ", it is not. All day and night carts and vehicles fly past. Golf carts with systems, blaring their music at all times. There were drunk people, from that seasonal site and another site, fighting until 2am, and even had one of them come to our campsite, and sit in one of our chairs. Overall not a pleasant weekend and will not return there.

Will start off by saying I have never written a review but felt strongly enough after cutting a 2 day booked trip to only 1 day that it was necessary. Yes, you read that right. Paid for 2 days but left after 1 night because of how negative the experience was. First, don’t book a riverfront tent spot and especially not spot #60 unless you like to attempt to stake your tent in gravel. There isn’t grass…you’re paying an increased premium to camp in a small gravel driveway that just happens to be in front of the river. Second, there is no enforced quiet time. Supposed to be at 11pm but there was screaming and yelling and loud music up until nearly 4am. There were even people jumping into and tubing down the river from 1am-4am who obviously had been drinking adult beverages all day. Don’t plan morning activities because you will not get an ounce of sleep. Next, bring Vaseline and lube your rear quarters if you need to buy anything from the camp store. You’ll be paying quadruple what the item would be in a dollar store or walmart. Next, wife wanted to shower after being kept up all night and there was no hot/warm water in the women’s bathroom. The men’s showers ended up being fine. The next issue is we couldn’t even get into our campsite because several trailers used to collect tubes and canoes were parked right in front of our camp spot. When we let the workers know we were camped right there we were told we had to drive all the way around the campground and come in through the back. In closing, it was a complete waste of $120 that was spent for a 2 night stay that turned into a 1 night stay. Also, ignore their “free wifi” claim. It only works if you’re inside the camp store.

Employees were great at the desk. Having been camping through my entire life I feel I know each campground is a little different. But, I have never been to a campground where other people camping have had so little disregard for everyone else around them. We constantly had people walking through the middle of our campsite paying no attention or have a care in the world that they were on our site. Multiple campsite around us blaring music until roughly 3-4am, and no one from the campground asked them turn it down. Obviously the quiet hours that should begin at 11pm are not enforced. Sunday morning 4/5 toilets were completely clogged until roughly 10am. Like I said, I’ve been camping all my life and I’m totally used to people playing music softly and talking around the fire into wee hours of the night, but this was out of control. I brought it up to the desk a few times and it doesn’t seem as though anything was done about it.

The check in is very smooth. Staff very efficient. Actually lots of spaces! Average about $60/night for our four night stay. The only real detraction is they advertise Wi-Fi, but it either doesn't work or too many campers are logged onto it. I would recommend this campground for a nice, relaxing stay with many recreational opportunities nearby in season.

Decided to have a low key stay with my wife and see some of the new trails. We made it a last minute change-up from our usual faves. Made reservations a few days in advance. Due to multiple conflicts we needed to reschedule. Didn't think it would be too big of an issue being it was during the off season, there were +160 vacancies, and it was a Sunday - Tuesday (off peak) stay. I called to see what options were available and was told none. I didn't want a refund, simply wanted to move the date. Zero help. Was told, they needed 7 days notice...even though I booked less than a week with an almost 90% vacancy rate! Told me no refund. No rescheduling. No options. No exceptions. If it was prime time and in season, could see it. Being I'm a repeat customer and the place was virtually vacant, just a horrible way to run customer service. Terrible.

Mohican Adventures is a great place to stay. We get a small cabin that sleeps 4 which has a shower and bathroom which is super nice for you ger kids. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the cabin wasn't cleaned as well as it could have been for our last visit and the bathrooms are very cramped, especially with a large toilet paper holder place right next to the toilet making the space... The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the cabin wasn't cleaned as well as it could have been for our last visit and the bathrooms are very cramped, especially with a large toilet paper holder place right next to the toilet making the space hard to use. The only other complaint would be that our AC had now setting to keep it from turning on and off all night so it was choosing between being woken up every 30 minutes or being hot. Otherwise they are great, the staff is kind and helpful, their is plenty to do in the area, they have a nice indoor pool and hot tub, and plenty of play equipment for the kiddos.

We had a great time here. Nothing was open as we went in the off season, but the fall colors were amazing. We did use the pool. Everyone was very nice and it was clean. We had no electricity at our camp site when we got there but they fixed it very quickly.

Not for couples for rest & relaxation. This place is for families with kids. Overcrowded and noisy. No privacy whatsoever and packed in like sardines. Very dangerous with so many kids on bikes and electric scooters going so fast and pulling out in front of moving cars with no parents supervision. The bathrooms were disgusting on Friday and Saturday with un flushed toilets and toilet paper everywhere. Showers were filthy and hair and soap bars all over the floors. Parents just let their kids wonder all over with no supervision and when it got dark they were still riding bikes & scooters in the pitch dark and you can’t even see them until the last second. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Sunday was Wonderful when everyone left and it was virtually empty with just a few campers left. The poor ladies that had to clean those bathrooms our hearts went out to them. They were spotless on Sunday Afternoon to evening. No camp security to keep the craziness in line on Friday or Saturday day or Night. It was like a Zoo. Would not recommend this for couples or older people because you won’t get any peace and quiet and the kids are up at the crack of dawn.
