Well done Redbud Ranch. We will be back.

We rented a cabin and enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable with peaceful views of the creek. The employees at the front desk were very easy to work with and friendly. We will definitely be back.

What’s advertised is not what we got. We wanted a good, inviting camp ground that we could potentially stay at when we come to see our son. The biggest complaint we had is the customer service and the experience provided. Before we arrived we called ahead to ask if they had propane refills available as Texas was experiencing some frigid temps and we didn’t want to go without heat. The gal who answered the phone had the worst attitude and said “we can see if maintenance is still here when you arrive”. That wasn’t very reassuring. So we felt we should play it safe and fill the tanks prior to checking in. The first few nights weren’t bad. We noticed that the workers had golf carts to get around the grounds and that they were going oddly fast. Faster than the posted “enforced” speed limit of 7mph. Then we get an invoice for 2 speeding infractions. So we went to the office , to question these speeding infractions as we know our speed didn’t exceed more than what our vehicle ideals. And that’s when hell broke loose. The gal in the back office with short blond hair said that they “monitor the speed by looking out the window and if they think someone is speeding, they mark it down and submit it.” She then stated that she sometimes get in her golf cart and chase down the vehicle and look at the speedometer to track the speed”. We understand that speeding is taken serious but our issue is more EVERONE needs to abide by the speed limit. When we advised that the golf carts aren’t going the posted limit, she said “of course not! They’re going to their next job on the grounds!”. I’m sorry, the employees should be setting the example. All in all we won’t be going back and we certainly won’t recommending this camp ground to anyone we know that’s traveling to the Austin area. Do better Redbud Ranch! Get a better speed enforcement system thank just the opinion of the front office staff or a golf cart speedometer. Maybe send your staff to some customer service classes because the service and experience you provided was extremely bad!

We are brand new snow birds and tried this place out for three weeks cause it was close to my son. When we checked in the blond lady gave us an attitude for not letting them know that we were getting propane somewhere else also she mentioned that there is a speed limit of 7 miles an hour and that they enforce it so we get set up and first night the train traffic never let up along with their horns all night long this was for the three weeks we were there. About mid second week I get an email that we have charges on our invoice I look at the email and it shows two changes for speeding $25.00 each we go into the office to inquire about the charges and the girl at the counter is like I really don’t want to get involved a few seconds later the same blond that was there when checked in comes out of her office an says what’s going on I asked her if there was any proof of me speeding and what time did I speed her answer was that she saw from her office widow and said I was speeding I asked what time and how fast I was going again she said she saw from her window and said I was speeding. No documentation or time or anything else that would show that I was speeding she stood her ground and was still charging us for the speeding so I would think twice about staying here if it’s just for the trains all night long also if it looks like your speeding you will be fined without any proof worst experience ever
