This is an excellent family-oriented campground with a ton of great campers and well-behaved pets. The grounds are clean, well-appointed, and well laid out. Everyone we encountered seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were there during their annual trick or treat event and a ton of the campsites went above and beyond with the decorations and costumes! We will definitely return next year.

Meh, it was okay. Lots of long-term campers. Some really nice rvs, others not so nice. We parked in a pull-through on grass, which really needed mowing. To be fair, it's been rainy here, so maybe they just haven't gotten around to mow it in a while. We had water and electricity. The grounds are big. They also sell, repair, and store rvs.

Nice place to stay. You can drive in after hours and pick a spot and pay on the website or in the office the next day. Nice folks. Big open campground with over 270 spots. It was a large farm land area with lots of spots spread out. No one was too close to eachother. They have bathrooms and a nice big barn seating area with a big fire pit where you could have a big party. Lots of pretty green space and trees. But not too many trees where it’s trouble parking. Big large wide roads so it’s easy to get around. It’s not tight like other campground. I’ll be back. They also have sales and repairs maintenance here for rvs and campers. Only 7 minute drive from interstate.

Believe the reviews when they say you are in the middle of a corn field ! We actually loved this spot for the night. We had been stuck in our previous site with hitch issues, so arriving here after a long day of travel was just what we needed. We arrived after hours, but that was not an issue. We were able to find our spot just fine, and thankfully we stay at a time that was not too busy. We had 5... Believe the reviews when they say you are in the middle of a corn field ! We arrived after hours, but that was not an issue. We were able to find our spot just fine, and thankfully we stay at a time that was not too busy. We had 50 amp hook up + water. NO sewer, but we did use the dump station prior to leaving. Our site was pull through, a little unlevel (but fine) and it was all grass. Cell service was low for us, but our Starlink worked. It was beautiful at night due to zero light pollution.

The days at poorfamers: We have been at poorfamers for 7 seasons had 3 different spots and moved into our second camper. The days at poorfamers: We have been at poorfamers for 7 seasons had 3 different spots and moved into our second camper. What can I say the days are long and the nights are fun, a place to cut loose, relax, and enjoy your extended weekend family. Through the years I have met some "unique" weekenders and some cool people, but that is what makes this campground great. The tractor pulls, car shows, flea market weekends, and camper planned events like cornhole, and rib cook offs were new to us but through the years we find ourselves looking forward to attending them. We (my wife) have finally found the perfect spot for us(my wife) to kick back and relax to our fullest and enjoy the peace and quiet. We hustle and bustle all week long and when it comes to the weekend all we want to do is come relax with good friends, share horrible week stories, and eat good food. Thanks PF for providing a place for us and our friends to camp and enjoy our time away from home.
