We stayed in one of the small cabins and loved it! It was really clean and everything looked new. I would definitely stay there again but I would bring some paper and tape to cover up the window in the door because it got light in the cabin by 6:30am. It also didn't get very dark in the cabin at night due to the bright red exit sign over the door and the porch light, which you couldn't turn off. T... It also didn't get very dark in the cabin at night due to the bright red exit sign over the door and the porch light, which you couldn't turn off. These were the only drawbacks for us. They had tons of activities going on and free breakfast Sunday morning. There's an indoor pool but we never used it. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and modern. Don't leave anything outside. We bought a large bundle of firewood and even though we hid it behind a large tree next to our cabin someone still stole it.

We were happy with this campground. We use the Bathhouse when we travel and this one was newly remodelled and very clean! Pool house is amazing. Sites are on cement pads with ample room between trailers!

I typically do not give negative reviews but I feel it is warranted in this instance. The access roads had NYC quality potholes, some 8 inches deep all throughout the parks access roads. Additionally, at $95 a night (cash or check only, no debit or credit card), the price did not justify the aged facilities that were fairly well maintained. If you are driving a large rig, beware of the craters tha... I typically do not give negative reviews but I feel it is warranted in this instance. We visited this campground many years ago and it was a little run down which is why we didnt return. WOW! They have made great improvements 9 years later and are continuing to do more. One place I would consider season camping! Not to mention some of the campgrounds seem to not have a band on the holiday weekends but this place seems to! Great job guys!

We enjoyed most of the summer at Timber Ridge. Our lake lot was quite lovely and had a concrete pad. There were lots of activities going on, including live music on a couple of the Saturday nights. Super nice managers here!
