I used to stay here when it was a hostile. I absolutely loved it. My one star is because I'm so terribley upset that there is no way to rent it out by the bed or a room anymore. Its the only way for guests of the park to stay within the park and really experience it. It would be nice if at least one or two months out if the year, it was rented out like a hostile. Just stayed here for a wedding weekend with the entire bridal party and it was so, so amazing. The accessibility to the park is incredible (although we were too busy to utilize it), the fire pit set up was clutch for the wedding after party, and the rooms were sparse, but exactly what we needed. If you need a comfy bed to sleep in, consider bringing extra blankets and/or pillows. The kitchen is S... Stayed at the Stanford House for a family reunion. The house was beautiful and comfortable. Trails were very close to the house if you wanted to hike .

We had our rehearsal/dinner in the dining room with the bridal party the night before the wedding, and we had out-of-town guests stay the night of the wedding.
