Location The place is quite spacious, way bigger than I had originally thought while parking. So if you're not heading out the same time as you pack then it would be beneficial to bring along a wagon if you have one available. Its suprisingly close to the city, like right in it almost however with the exception of hearing traffic at night, you really dont notice that at all once parked and inside camp. Camp Staff I have not 1 bad thing to say here, everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice and did their best to ensure everyone had a great weekend. My son is currently going through this phase where he easily gets a bit nervous about the weather and one of the ladies working noticed us off to the side and checked on us, when she realized what the situation was she promptly began assuring my son that they would make sure everyone was safe even if the weather did happen to get bad. She even pulled up a radar map on her phone and explained it all to him, letting him know the only thing coming our way was rain. She was so patient and kind, and really helped making our trip here a great experience. I hate that I cant recall her name but if you happen to see this im sure you remember us and i just want to say THANK YOU! You're absolutely amazing and I really appreciate the kindness and compassion you demonstrated Saturday! Archery Instructor This was my sons first time trying archery and once again, so much patience and understanding was demonstrated by the gentleman working in this area and I loved seeing my boy go from wanting to give up and walk away to confident because he was given one on one instruction and patience! At the end of it he even ended up doing pretty well with his shot and this was one of his favorite events from the day, thank you so much for making that possible! Thanks for an amazing weekend Cricket Holler!!!

Cricket Holler was amazing! I rented the commercial kitchen space to use for two days for a catering event I had. The space and equipment was everything I needed! And Jasper, the Park Ranger, was extremely helpful with everything. I hope to be able to use the space for future events!

Awesome scouts BSA camp! I can't believe I've never been! It's an absolutely stunning massive acreage of land. Great for survival campouts, scouting training courses, and cabins for business trainings. I've been told it's also a wonderful place to camp if you're going to visit the National Air Force Museum in Dayton!!
