East Harbor State Park Campground is a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are well kept. The facilities are neat and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is lots to do inside the park. And it is centrally located so you can go island hopping or many other activities in the area.

We went here in the fall for just three nights, and we really enjoyed the stay. Good facilities, dumpsters are conveniently located, and water and pump out stations are decent.

Definitely needs upgraded. My site was b130. Maps don't show a b130. The signs in the campground dont list a b130. Had a fellow camper, show me where he thought it was, he's been camping there for 25 years. Sure enough there it was between b52 and b53. The sites need leveled, b130 is almost 3 inches out from front to back. The back 3 ft of asphalt is humped so bad it's not usable. This is Ohio's b... Definitely needs upgraded. My site was b130. This is my favorite campground to visit every time I'm in the area. All of the other campers are friendly, as well as the campground staff. They have a lot of facilities and cute events for Halloween. It's like a little home away from home!

Whoa Nellie! Lots of campsites. But surprisingly, everyone is respectful and well behaved. As anywhere, tent sites are crowded and on top of each other. RVers have the luxury spots. C'est la vie! Lots of walking paths, Lake Erie beach close by, boat ramps, fishing, historical stuff. I didn't plan enough days for sure. Therefore, a return trip must be required.
