So my hubby and I stayed at 055C in Loop C. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and super shady!! And the water was warm all night long!! But it is NOT very private. Beautiful camp grounds, spacious and clean. The lake is great for fishing or swimming. The shower and restrooms were usually clean. Lots of wildlife seen a doe and her fawn, raccoons, armadillo, and a mud turtle. A 15 min drive to Chickasha National Park and recreation. My family loves Arbuckle Lake! ❤️

This is the most beautiful campground I have ever been to! Stayed by myself and felt very safe. Site host is kind and welcoming and always available. Restrooms and showers are so clean. They did a beautiful job with privacy between sites too. Our new favorite spot!

Very nice campground. The sites have lots of space. There’s trees in between most sites. The lake was nice and was actually really clean. Bathrooms were super clean and smelled clean! That was a first for me. Clean smelling bathrooms camping. I would come back if the area had more to do. The trails and springs in the area are not pet friendly. That was disappointing for our trip but still a nice c... Very nice campground. The sites have lots of space. There’s trees in between most sites. The lake was nice and was actually really clean. So to cover the basics of the camp site visiting in October: -Bathrooms, spotless, not smelly barely any bugs. Also family bathroom and shower. Showers (medium hot if you hit the timer twice) Can be a bit of a hike, so make sure you check your site's proximity. -Campsite: All retained and leveled with a wall. Areas for seeing up tents and bonfires can vary so make sure you check. We stayed in site... Areas for seeing up tents and bonfires can vary so make sure you check. We stayed in site 63 and it comfortably fit three tents but some definitely wouldn't. -Access: good. A bit of a drive from the historic springs and falls areas. Excellent access to the lake. -Wildlife: expect armadillos at night. Every night just after hitting the sack we were visited by our local 'dillo rummaging attend the leaves for insects. A pretty fun change from the raccoons we usually experience as the typical campsite visitor.
