We have been staying here by the lake for 10 days. Taking a relaxing break from our travels. The stay here has been great. The management is friendly and professional. There are full hook ups with a septic dump site close by. The rates are very reasonable. With winter and disabled veterans dicount

I live in the neighborhood. It’s a beautiful, comfortable, safe well known spot for people who love this area and just want to get away from it all and go fish or swim, sit and stare at the water and mountains, or go hike in the reserve 20 minutes away. Off the beaten path, and more secluded. There are beavers, a big heron, turtles, fish and quiet. The store is closed for good I hear. They will bu... I live in the neighborhood. They will build a pavilion I’ve also heard, which doesn’t really help anyone who wants groceries or coffee where they are parked! It’s a great spot right on the lake. This area is more wild around the lake, but less manicured, which makes it more like camping.

We had issues at first with the breaker popping when setting up. It was too much for it to handle cooling down in hot weather, but once our RV cooled down & cleaned out our air filter it didn’t short. We also t... Great spot with lovely views of the lake. Pros: This was a great little campground hidden away. The spots were nice we got one away from others to have more space. Can’t beat $20 a night. The spots have both electric and water. The bathroom was clean and has a shower. There is a nice little playground as well. We will go again. There are picnic tables and fire pits. Cons: There are no signs stating rules or check in or out times. This i... Pros: This was a great little campground hidden away. The spots were nice we got one away from others to have more space. There are picnic tables and fire pits. Cons: There are no signs stating rules or check in or out times. This is a fcfs campground with no reservations. There is no drop box for money a person comes around to collect but no times are given. The spots do not seem to be cleaned between campers so if there is garbage left it’s your choice to clean it I guess. The garbage can is down by the park by the bathroom. The picnic tables aren’t great the wood is warped.
