About Wild Bill’s RV Park

Campground in Oklahoma.

Nestled in the Oklahoma Panhandle, Wild Bill's RV Park offers a welcoming home base for travelers exploring one of America's most underrated regions. Located at 1201 North Cimarron Avenue in Boise City, this RV park provides convenient access to the unique landscapes and rich history that define the High Plains.

Boise City sits at the heart of a fascinating area where Colorado, Oklahoma, and New Mexico converge. The town itself carries authentic frontier charm, with a compelling history tied to the Santa Fe Trail and cattle ranching heritage that shaped the American West. Visitors appreciate the slower pace of life here, where stunning sunsets paint the expansive sky in brilliant oranges and purples, and the starry nights remind you why so many RVers seek out quieter corners of the country.

The surrounding region offers surprising attractions for outdoor enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Just a short drive away, you'll find Boise City Cemetery and the town's historic downtown district, where early twentieth-century architecture tells stories of pioneer settlement and frontier resilience. The wide-open spaces of the Oklahoma Panhandle are perfect for those seeking solitude and natural beauty, with rolling prairie landscapes that stretch to the horizon.

This area appeals to travelers who want to escape crowded tourist destinations and experience genuine small-town hospitality. RVers passing through on cross-country journeys appreciate the park's location as a strategic stopping point, while those interested in frontier history, prairie ecology, or simply unplugging from urban life find plenty to explore. The Panhandle offers excellent opportunities for photography, particularly at sunrise and sunset, making it a favorite among creative travelers.

The park's 4.3-star rating from 207 reviews reflects consistently positive experiences from visitors who value the peaceful setting and convenient location. Whether you're a full-time RVer exploring lesser-known destinations or a family road-tripping across the High Plains, Wild Bill's RV Park serves as an ideal base for discovering what makes the Oklahoma Panhandle special.

Great little RV park with great rates! Wild Bill’s RV Park is small but well maintained and has a friendly, welcoming vibe. Nice well-matained little park. Just passing thru in mid-Nov. Full H/Us w/picnic table & grill. Gravel/grass spots fairly level. Price was great - $30. Truck traffic can be annoying early morning hours. Would stay again.

We loved this campground! Nice heated restrooms with clean showers, laundry, and mini golf! My son was thrilled it was across the street from a big playground, and we even enjoyed the museum next door. Close to a small town for groceries and such.

Fun place for an overnight. The sites are a bit primitive but that’s part of the charm. Boise City is a little town in the middle of the Oklahoma panhandle surrounded by farmland. We had a beautiful stroll around the farm and in the city park at sunset. No hassle… Just leave your money in an envelope and put it in the dropbox. No reservations… Just a friendly phone call and the assurance that you... Fun place for an overnight. The sites are a bit primitive but that’s part of the charm.
