One of, if not the most beautiful places in Oregon in my opinion every spot along the recreation corridor is amazing and there are so many that you generally will have the spot to yourself. The trails can range from very easy to moderately difficult. Anyone who hasnt been here needs to check it out.

The best geological feature has no signage I could see, so it's probably easy to miss. The Eye of The Molalla, also known as Rosette basalt. Concentric basalt columns are lying sideways instead of vertically, giving off an eye appearance.

This is our favorite local place to go for beautiful scenery, riverside relaxing and swimming, camping, and hiking. At the very least, just driving through on a rainy day! I love the gorgeous emerald green color of the river and the cool rock formations in the canyon from ancient volcanic activity.

Very scenic river. I was on limited time so I just parked in gravel lot on side of highway and walked down to the river. Walk down was easy but people who are fall risks might want to be careful on some of the rocks. A little slippery.
