Cool place! Quiet almost on the water camping. Pit toilet usual for BLM. Amazing views. Didn't know there were several more BLM campgrounds down the river! Off the grid, no cell service to maybe a bar. Perfect.

Gorgeous. Beautiful. Clean. Has toilets, campfire circles, picnic tables, and grass. Still feels like you're in the wilderness. Nice stop on our way to Fischer Canyon.

Great fishing spot, though depending on the day and time, it becomes "guide alley" with folks lined up on the banks to fish. There are several good spots down river, too.

The first campground down river from Bowman Dam, this year round location has 15 non reservable campsites and potable water in the warm months. One group campsite and one accessible single campsite. A slightly steep wheelchair paved trail leads down to the upper river bank but not right to the Crooked River. No campsite power but fly fishers love the place.
