Devils Lake offers a stunning Pacific Northwest camping experience nestled in the heart of Oregon's scenic coastal region. This public campground provides an excellent base for exploring one of Oregon's most picturesque natural areas, where dramatic volcanic cliffs frame pristine freshwater lake views that seem almost otherworldly in their beauty.

The lake itself is the main attraction, and it's truly spectacular. The deep blue waters are surrounded by towering 200-foot rock formations that create a natural amphitheater of stone, making it one of the most photographed lakes in Oregon. The setting is perfect for a variety of outdoor activities that appeal to different types of travelers. Anglers will find good fishing opportunities, with the lake stocked regularly and offering chances to catch rainbow trout and other species. The water is also ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and swimming during the warmer months, providing refreshing ways to enjoy the natural landscape.

Beyond the lake itself, the location puts you in proximity to some of Oregon's most beloved coastal attractions. The nearby town of Lincoln City sits just minutes away, offering restaurants, shops, and services for any camping necessities you might need. Haystack Rock and other dramatic coastal formations are accessible for day trips, showcasing the rugged beauty that defines this stretch of Oregon's coast. The area is also home to numerous hiking trails through old-growth forest, with options ranging from easy lakeside walks to more challenging woodland adventures.

The campground serves as an ideal destination for families, couples, and solo travelers seeking a peaceful retreat in nature. The relatively high user ratings reflect the consistently pleasant experience visitors have here. Whether you're looking to unwind by the water, pursue outdoor recreation, or use the location as a jumping-off point for exploring the wider Oregon coast, Devils Lake provides a well-maintained public camping option in a truly remarkable setting that captures the essence of Pacific Northwest beauty.

We've stayed here before. Nice campground close enough to Lincoln City, far away enough for less traffic noise. Clean, full hook up; a bit pricey but still summer. We'll stay again. The maintenance gentleman was very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, all I needed was to dump my tank there. They charge a minimal fee of about six or seven dollars. But it is a very well kept up RV Park very close to Lincoln City grocery stores and fast food

Stayed for the night, mid week, off-season. It was close to beaches and a grocery store. Reasonable rates, though we did have the staff pounfingbon the door with "noise complaints" at 9:30, to tell us that city curfew is 10 pm and to quiet down. My son was crying, and apparently, that's not allowed 30 minutes before curfew. The lady in the morning was great, but the guy at night needs to chill.
