This is probably one of the most scenic campgrounds I've ever visited. Even though it was pouring rain, it was still well worth it. It's worth noting that noise carries on water, and some people are really, unnecessarily loud. A guy maybe 20 sites from us was yelling at his poor dogs (Pepper and Ruby, in case you wanted to know) and I think the whole campground felt for those poor dogs. The site hosts the first night, Jason and his wife, were very nice and welcoming. They mentioned the second and third days would be different site hosts, and wow, what a difference. We'd wave, they would look away. We'd say "Good morning!" and smile and they'd fly without acknowledgement by on their (very smelly and loud) utility cart. The last day they even stopped by our site to change our the reservation card and were ten feet from us while we were making breakfast and never responded to our greetings. I just don't get why someone would take such a position with that mentality.

Good camp spots, We have a 24 ft Lazy Days Motorhome that had no trouble. AND do not miss.... The stars shining SO freaking bright over the lake on a clear night!! Just sayin...I had a peaceful easy feeling 😊

This is one of the cleanest, most well maintained campgrounds I have ever been to. The bathrooms were clean and fresh and well stocked too. The views were stunning. Camp hosts were on the ball and courteous. Love it here.

Just returned from a three day trip. We had a wonderful time on our first trip to Timothy Lake. There was a lot to do between swimming, hiking, mountain biking and relaxing by the water. There are lots of camping options around the lake. There is even a trail that circles the lake...about 13 miles.
