Today was awesome. Great lake to paddle. It's just big enough to give us good space to paddle around. The scenery is one of the most beautiful of the many lakes. Parking is good. Popular for fishing and camping too. The one drawback is there isn't any shoreline to post up other than at the launch ramp which is just gravel. I hope to camp there one day. Not crowded, very peaceful.

Nice lake. Spacious, so even if it were a crowded day, plenty of room to get some solitude if that's what you're looking for. Road is a bit bumpy and several big pot holes on the way in. So go slow and beware of that.

A worker came out to check it but it wasn't cleaned all weekend Gross! Thank goodness I had my own in my trailer. If I had to rely on the one at the campground, there would have been plenty of FULL MOONS around our campsite. On a good note, the spots are spacious and somewhat private. The stars at night are big and bright and the sunrise is gorgeous.

Small primitive campground where the Deschutes River starts! Mosquitos can be bad, but most spots have shade. The lake can get pretty busy on weekends. This campground is all reservation, you can make those at recreation.gov but you might snag a night first come/first serve during the week.
