We went to visit Olallie Lake for the day, and we were super fortunate to see Lower Lake on the same trip. The walk down from the Campground (which is currently closed) was only half a mile. The walk with Kayaks was a little rough, but we had the whole lake to ourselves.

One of my favorite places in the area. Primitive, small campground a bit north of Olallie Lake. A pretty quiet campground that's also a good spot for a base camp for hiking. Lower Lake is a short hike, Fish Lake quite a challenging to/from. I haven't been back since the forest fires, but it was a beautiful spot a couple of years ago! Lots of yellow jackets in the summer, so be prepared. Pictu... One of my favorite places in the area. Primitive, small campground a bit north of Olallie Lake. Picture is of Fish Lake, about a 45-60 minute hike from LL Campground.

It was great! There were some drunk party goers the first night that blared music until 4 a.m. but other than that it was beautiful and fun!
