This is a big river rafting area and most of the campers are there for one night so it never really full, the main camp area for rafters is close to the bridge we're the different companies have there sites for there customers. Town is not far away 10 minutes from camp they have ice $8.00 to $12.00 a bag sandwich shop ice-cream, a bar and all the rest you need so have fun and enjoy.....

Nice place to camp besides the river if you’re on a short trip or have an RV, they have picnic tables and fire places. Is a little bit noisy since it can get crowded and there’s a train that goes by right next to camping that woke us up at 6 am. There’s a lot of small spikes on the ground so be mindful to always wear shoes. Bathrooms are definitely not clean so I would use them just for a real eme... Absolutely riddled with goathead burs. Picked up a shoe full everything I walked anywhere. The poor dogs were traumatized. Otherwise quite nice. Conveniently close to town, great tables, decent bathroom.

Great spot, close to town so you still get cell service and usually not too busy since most folks prefer to camp a bit further away from Maupin.
