It was a bit more crowded than I was hoping for but everyone was really friendly and helpful. We had our dogs off leash as did everyone else and that was fine. The water was perfect for swimming. We also did kayaking. The ground was pretty rocky so bring water shoes and don't plan on getting a good sandy spot unless you get up to the lake waaaaay early. We got there about 11:30 and it was hard to... It was a bit more crowded than I was hoping for but everyone was really friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredibly fun to swim and play in the water. 💙

Small, but picturesque campground, right on Elk Lake. Beautiful view from most sites. Quiet, except for the road noise.fortunately the road isn't horribly busy. Vault toilet isn't too bad.

This place is rocky, has no water to fill gallon containers, limited flat areas for tents, one bathroom shared with day use. If you don't get one of the 2-3 sites on water, then you will access water to play in or float in at the boat ramp. Not the safest. Lots of coming/going of cars with day use traffic. Lastly, right on hwy, so you hear cars all the time. Average at best. Better campgrounds... It's a nice and simple campground. Enough space to spread and breathe a little. The camp host was super nice and welcoming. I haven't had any complaints so far with Elk lake in general except for the masses of people at the resort in the summer :)

This is the best RV park we have ever stayed at. We have stayed short term in the past and we just finished staying for a few months waiting for our new home to close. The service is great, the cleanliness is outstanding and the dogs have multiple choices for pottying and playing. There should be a place like this in every city in the USA!!!

Superb service! Flat pull through site is perfect for our 1 night layover, didn't even have to unhook. Laundry is free, we didnt need it because we will be home tomorrow night. Our Golden loved the fenced dog park and were gonna treat ourself to the steakhouse next door

I cannot for the life of me understand why an RV park would be non-smoking. If you are outdoors you smell exhaust from cars and trucks so I can’t see the reasoning for this. This is the third one I’ve seen in the country and I’m sure there are more. My question is this. If it’s because the smell might bother others, does that mean I can’t grill a steak outside because it might offend the vegans? R... If it’s because the smell might bother others, does that mean I can’t grill a steak outside because it might offend the vegans? RV parks are well known for people from different parts of the country getting to know each other. I like to sit outside with a nice bourbon and a cigar after a long road trip.

This may be one of the friendliest, well-appointed parks we’ve stayed! We were just a quick overnight, but lemme tell ya it is precious! I loved the shaded/cooled communal areas for grilling, cooking, and games! What a fun place. Wish we could have enjoyed the amenities, oh and did I mention REASONABLY priced! 5 fat stars for yall! 💚 Btw the lady in the welcome center is fantastic!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. The clubhouse is nice. The staff were wonderful. The showers and restrooms are combined and private. The spaces are paved and very wide. On the surface it was great. We used a wifi extender but still had issues with buffering. The park was full though so probably a lot of people using it at the same time. The spaces are paved and very wide. On the surface it was great. We used a wifi extender but still had issues with buffering. The park was full though so probably a lot of people using it at the same time. They provide a continental breakfast on the weekend. That’s rare and appreciated. We had planned to stay 2 nights but changed our minds a couple hours after being there. They charged about $25 to cancel but didn’t give me the option of making a decision based on that. They just emailed it was canceled and refunded the remaining money. Okay, I was happy to leave. The train is close and rolls through after a typical bedtime. When using the showers they were kind of messy (wet counters and floor). In fairness, the place was packed. What got us most were some questionable people staying there. I’m not sure if there is a long term area. All I can say is I felt unsafe walking to the restroom late in the evening.
