Trail says 5 miles but you gain about 1,500 just in the last two miles and that last set of switchbacks if exposed and a decently hard trail. My tracking said more like 6 when I got to echo. Went back down and all the way out that second day. Was still walking at 9pm without a headlamp but it was pretty bright out. Did this in mid August.
